Mike Lubrano

Mike is Principal at Lubrano Advisory Services, Senior Advisor at Nestor Advisors and a director of Aktis Intelligence, a governance data and analysis platform. From December 2007 to August 2019, he served as Managing Director, Corporate Governance and Sustainability of Cartica Management, LLC, an emerging markets ESG-focused fund manager.

At International Finance Corporation (IFC) from 1997 to 2007, Mike pioneered IFC’s corporate governance practice, establishing corporate governance as a central element of IFC’s sustainable development strategy. Mike is an attorney by profession and holds degrees from Harvard College, Princeton University and New York University School of Law.

Dr. Alexander Juschus

Dr. Alexander Juschus LL.M. (Born 1970) is the former general manager of IVOX GlassLewis GmbH. After studying law at the Universities of Mannheim, Heidelberg and Newcastle, Alexander wrote a Ph.D. thesis on Corporate Governance and Shareholder Engagement at the University of Durham/UK. Post academic positions include chief representative of Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) in the Germanic markets, general manager of investors voice, and IVOX.

Alexander previously co-chaired ICGN’s shareholder rights committee for six years and holds lectures in corporate governance at the Hamburg School of Business Administration and Mainz University. Additionally, he consults the German Association of Institutional Investors in matters on corporate governance and proxy voting. Furthermore, a number of essays and studies have been published by him.

Dr. Carola Rinker

Dr. Carola Rinker studied economics at Albert Ludwig University in Freiburg and Université Jean Moulin in Lyon. In her dissertation she dealt with the topic "Value relevance of research and development costs" and investigated the relationship between share prices and innovations of listed companies.
She has been offering seminars in accounting for several years on topics such as reading balance sheets, balance sheet analysis, balance sheet cosmetics as well as balance sheet falsification. Executives, supervisory board members and investors regularly attend individual coaching sessions with her. In addition to years of teaching experience at various universities (including Hochschule für Ökonomie und Management, University of Siegen, Duale Hochschule Lörrach), she has held numerous video lectures for the International University of Applied Sciences Bad Honnef.
As an author, she has already published several textbooks as well as articles in professional journals with a focus on accounting. She is also the author of the NWB expert blog as well as the blog "Abgeschminkt" of the financial magazine FINANCE. Furthermore, she also gained experience as a supervisory board member.

Andrés Bernal

He has led several projects of institutional strengthening and board optimization in leading Latin American companies, advising companies, multilateral entities and governments.
Among the organizations he has advised the OECD (for Colombia's accession process between 2015 and 2017); to CAF development bank of Latin America (in various technical assistance processes and publications); to IDB Invest (in corporate governance due diligence processes); to Grupo Energía de Bogota (in its reinstitutionalization process, since 2016); to Grupo EPM (in evaluations of its Board of Directors and structuring of the group's corporate governance model); to the Colombian Stock Exchange (accompanying the Corporate Governance Committee of the Board of Directors and as an independent member of the Investor Relations Committee); to the Ministry of Finance of Paraguay (by structuring its corporate governance strategy for public companies); and to the Stock Exchanges of Lima, Mexico and the Dominican Republic (in various corporate governance initiatives).
Andres has a law degree from Universidad del Rosario (2004), a master's degree in corporate finance law from Delaware (2007), and more than a hundred national and international publications on Boards of Directors and Corporate Governance.
